Photographer Jim Stipe has traveled throughout much of the world capturing images that
reflect the strength and vitality of the human spirit. The son of an anthropologist, Jim brings
a cultural sensitivity and awareness to his photography. Having worked for nine years at
Bread for the World, a world hunger organization, he is knowledgeable about U.S. and
international hunger, poverty and development issues.

His photos have been published by many organizations, including UNICEF, USAID, Africa
Action, the American Refugee Committee, Bread for the World, Catholic Relief Services, the
Centers for Disease Control, Jubilee USA Network and Lutheran World Relief.

Jim and his wife Christina Way currently make their home in Baltimore, MD, where they both
work for an international relief organization — Jim as a photo editor and Christina in Human

Jim is currently available for local photo assignments in the Washington DC/Baltimore area.
